Jay Sandak, a Stamford native and Founding Partner of the firm, has practiced in Connecticut for thirty-five years. He has extensive trial experience in personal injury and commercial litigation including professional liability, land use, complex condemnation, business torts and intellectual property cases. His litigation background has been supplemented by serving as Corporation Counsel for the City of Stamford and representing multiple municipal police unions in grievance and unfair labor practice proceedings. He holds a B.A. degree from Colby College (1964) and J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law (1971). Before starting private practice, he was a law clerk at the United States Court of Claims, Washington, D.C.
