Our transactional and real estate lawyers have developed considerable experience on issues of zoning, land use, municipal and administrative law primarily as it relates to commercial real estate development. We have handled numerous complex commercial real estate projects for owners, tenants, builders and developers in Fairfield County including office buildings, condominiums, subdivisions, shopping centers, retail outlets and mixed use projects.
A lean mid-sized firm, we have more trial-ready attorneys than many of the large law firms in Connecticut. We view ourselves as trial lawyers for both clients and other lawyers, and we are often referred cases by other firms and attorneys who have confidence in our attorneys trial skills. In addition to being prepared to bring any dispute to trial, arbitration or hearing, we pride ourselves upon our ability to craft sensible business solutions to commercial disputes and to effectively negotiate resolutions (lawyer to lawyer or through methods such as mediation and arbitration) to serve our client's interests. Three of our attorneys have served as Special Masters for the U.S. District Count of Connecticut and several of our attorneys have served as attorney trial referees to adjudicate cases in the Connecticut Courts. Additionally two of our partners have been tained and serve as private mediators and arbitrators. We represent clients in all state, federal and appellate courts in Connecticut, in federal courts in other states, and before many municipal, state and federal administrative agencies.
